Dr. Christiana Russell is a former higher education professional whose work focused on educational program development for marginalized youth in lower income communities, teaching collegiate level courses and published writings in academic journals. After a two-year battle with stage 3 metastatic breast cancer diagnosed in 2019, Dr. Russell is a grateful survivor and works in advocacy and as an Ambassador for the American Cancer Society and Susan G. Komen. Dr. Russell is a full-time content creator, who uses her platform as a space where resilience, empowerment, and style intersect, inspiring readers and followers to embrace life’s challenges with grace and courage. Dr. Russell holds a PhD in Sociology from the Ohio State University (2006), a Master of Social Work in Human Development & Family Studies from the Ohio State University (2001), a BS in Criminal Justice from Georgia State University (1998), and a BA in Psychology from the Ohio State University (1994).
